Safety comes first: Each participant is required to swim with a swimming buoy and a light. Watercraft and experienced swimmers provide guidance.

Lighted Buoys: Each buoy on the water lights up and moves with the swimmers. This also makes the trip more special for those on the beach. Swim through the sea of lanterns as you reach the 1001 meter milestone.

Festive Closing: After the swim, the tunes will greet you and we will end with a drink and a dance under the stars.

How can you participate?

Participation is possible from the age of 12 (including supervision of an adult) and in possession of a swimming diploma B. It is mandatory to participate in the safety briefings of the rescue brigade and to use a swimming buoy with a light during the trip. Each participant receives a light at the start of the organization. You can bring your own buoy or buy it on the SKIFFA website. This buoy is the only swimming buoy produced in the Netherlands.

Tickets can be purchased in the online SKIFFA shop:

What you need to bring?

Be sure to bring your enthusiasm and the sun. It is also important not to forget your swimming clothes, bring a towel, swimming goggles and a swimming buoy.
